Take a picture, it'll last longer

I thought Rebecca was crazy for taking a photo every day during the month of May; now I've decided to take a self-portrait every day for a year. Of course, I posted the first day's photo on day two... way to get off on the right foot.

The only thing I do on a daily basis is pee, so we'll see how well I do.

Here's today's photo:

Day 005: I do all my own stunts

Day five: I do all my own stunts.

Here's my 365 Project and MySelf Portraits.

  1. @hi! i'm kim
    Thanks! I had a lot of fun while trying to capture this shot. You'd be surprised at how sweaty you get when you belly flop onto the bed twenty or so times in a row.

    @kathy g
    Basically, I used my gorillapod and camera timer, then tried to jump at the exact right moment. Usually my timing was off or I'd jump the wrong way and end up with my head out of the picture. My fingers were kind of cut out of this photo, but I thought it was the best of the bunch.

  2. ohmygod. . . i'm totally not doubting your ability to do this, because i think it's awesome, and if anyone could pull this off, it's you. . . but you're absolutely right-- I WAS crazy. those 31 days almost killed me.

    btw, this first photo rocks. you look way more energetic than i ever do, considering we both need half a day's worth of sleep (and yet somehow think we'll manage to get by once we're mothers. . . hmmm. . . )

  3. That's awesome. I love the outakes on Flickr too! I have bed jumping pictures too ( http://www.gorillasushi.com/?q=node/30) !! Ever heard of bedjump.com?

  4. ... and look at her T-shirt! There's another jumper, waring a T-shirt picturing another jumper .... to infinity.

    You must also drink water on a daily basis. And eat, if it's not too much work.
