My garden is planted

All plants and seeds are officially in the ground.

I'm working on a quick blog post about my garden. This is a tomato in Ryan's fridge on Sunday. He swears it naturally decomposed this way.

Last year I had too much food, but this year my garden is even bigger.

- 8 different tomato plants, heirloom (I'm pretty sure one is going to die; it's withering while all others are thriving and one especially is growing like wildfire)
- 6 broccoli
- 2 kohlrabi
- 1 eggplant
- 1 chard
- 1 collard green
- 1 Brussels sprout
- 15ish corn (planted a week ago, all planted from seed and are emerging!!!)
- a long row of sunflowers, two varieties mixed
- a long row of quinoa, seeds planted today
- 2 pepper plants
- 1 blackberry bush
- 9 okra, seeds from Ryan's plants
- two garlic bulbs that sprouted so I buried them in the garden

I feel like I'm missing some things.

Then again, I feel like that all day every damn day.

  1. We had a wonderful crop of peas already (I had missed them, living in town!!) We've also got tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, lettuce, onions, and carrots. Oh, and fresh basil in the house.
