Contact SIUE. My mom found an axe head once out at our cabin and a professor there identified it. <br /><br />Cahokia Mounds is a good idea too. That is really a neat find. It&#39;s crazy that some people have no appreciation for history.

Is there a professor at a nearby college who specializes in early Native American studies? That&#39;s an amazing find, yet so sad that the dump-er didn&#39;t realize the value of it.
